“People Want to be Heard, Understood and Appreciated“
An ideal analogy to describe the dynamics of starting a business and maintaining a momentum would be when going for a bike ride one early beautiful morning and getting the bike moving. The bike is stopped, the rider gets on the bike and from a stand-still begins peddling. All the effort exerted is in getting the bike to begin moving. The peddling requires more energy to begin moving than the energy needed to keep the bike moving. The same is true in all businesses regardless of the product or service.
The effort to begin attracting customers requires commitment and communication of your business and service offerings. People begin to become customers who are benefitting from your services. The challenge in most businesses is once the client becomes a steady client, there seems to be an assumption that because they are benefitting, there is no further need for additional attention.
As in any relationship, attention, care, and appreciation for their appearance in your life as well as care and attention is actually spiritual nourishment for each other’s soul connection. As in the bicycle analogy, once the bike is moving, very little effort is needed to keep the bike moving; however, it still requires some effort.
