Last Thursday’s topic for the class was “Revealing the Truth about Personal Power” beginning with “What is Power.” Power is one of those subjects that is not talked about much other than who has the power and who does not have the power. It appeared to be of value to create a class on the subject of Power, which may be ideal timing to address now. This subject became so powerful as a topic for a class due to so many people who have felt for so long that they are “little with no power” and then left the class feeling clarity and much more “empowered.”
One of the areas we addressed during last week’s class was some of the reasons people have felt “powerless” and it became “powerfully clear” that fundamentally people really do not understand what power is, where does power come from and how do you get power and what do you do with power when you have it! The wonderful people attending this class and those receiving the video to watch later have commented on how “powerful” this class was, and a requested a Part 2 about Power to go deeper on this important subject.
One of the aspects we learned last week about what Power truly is was realizing that the essence of Power is “Influence.” Influence is a huge subject that we will be going on a deep dive this Thursday, July 30th revealing that if the essence of Power is Influence, how are we using this power to influence those situations and people who cross our paths.
